Get to know the team that will introduce you to the Upper Valais mountains.
Anja Nehrenheim
Anja lives with 16 Siberian huskies, a sheepdog, sheep, goats and chickens in a remote mountain pasture in the Valais Alps - 2 km from the nearest neighbour. With Wild Swiss Adventure, she offers husky trekking, sleigh rides and nature experiences for adults, children, families and people with disabilities. Despite her MS, Anja has found a way to live and work outdoors, always making decisions that prioritise the health and well-being of her entire team. In addition to the tours, she runs web design and social media projects for companies in the Alpine region via alpin-code.ch.
Phil Nehrenheim
Phil has been taking part in national and international sled dog races for years and has been regularly competing in multi-day stage races in Europe since 2013. With over 20 years of experience in sled dog sport and his passion for winter bivouacs, he and his team master every challenge. Over the years, he has had countless experiences with his huskies - from breathtaking panoramas in bright sunshine to violent snowstorms and difficult trail conditions. He often made difficult decisions in dicey moments, with the health of the entire team always his top priority. In addition to his work at Wild Swiss Adventure, Phil contributes his technical expertise as a systems engineer at a Swiss ISP.
