A special adventure for young and old. Children aged 6 and over experience a gentle tour with friendly huskies in the middle of the Valais mountains together with their family.
Your own husky for your family
Each family gets to know their husky personally and is not just a spectator, but right in the middle of the action. The direct contact makes the experience particularly close and unforgettable.
Participation desired
Children can actively help, for example with harnessing and watering the huskies. This turns the excursion into a real family adventure.

Husky knowledge for young and old
Along the way you will learn exciting facts about our huskies, their pack behaviour, their everyday life and the tradition of sled dogs.
Perfect event duration for families
The experience lasts around an hour and is ideal for families with children who love nature, animals and spending time together.
Programme of the event
1 - Welcome & Introduction
Participants meet at the meeting point, get to know the huskies, guides and equipment and receive a child-orientated introduction to the adventure.
2 - Harnessing & trekking tour
You will receive your lightweight trekking harness, get to know your husky partner and then set off together on a gentle and family-friendly tour.
3 - Photo break & shared moments
On the way, there is time for short breaks, nice souvenir photos and direct contact with the huskies. This creates real family moments in nature.
4 - Watering & finishing
After the trek, the children help to water the huskies and we end the experience together in a relaxed atmosphere.

Family Husky Adventure
Experience a special adventure with huskies as a family in the Saas Valley. After a child-friendly introduction, you will get to know your husky, help harness it and set off together on a relaxed trekking tour. Along the way, there is time for photos, little hands-on moments and exciting insights into the everyday life of our huskies. This turns an excursion into a real family experience that will live long in the memory.
Weather and hiking trails:
- Our trekking events take place in the beautiful subalpine area of the Upper Valais. Please note that weather conditions can vary greatly during the winter/summer season.
- The weather can change quickly and there may be unexpected storms or an increased risk of avalanches.
For these reasons, we need your mobile phone number where we can reach you on the day of the event in case of last-minute changes.
General booking conditions:
- The event is booked as soon as payment has been received by Wild Swiss Adventure & Dog School GmbH.
- Up to 15 days before the event the booking can be cancelled via your profile or by e-mail, in which case 4% bank charges will be retained.
- Up to 14 days before the event the booking can be cancelled via your profile or via e-mail, 50% of the booking value will be refunded.
- Up to 7 days before the event the booking can be cancelled via your profile or by e-mail, 20% of the booking value will be refunded.
- 24 hours before the event you will receive a text message and an e-mail informing you whether the event will take place due to bad weather, high temperatures or other unforeseeable conditions.
To ensure that you can enjoy your event without worries and are covered for unforeseen events such as illness or accidents, we recommend that you take out travel insurance. It is the responsibility of the participants to take out insurance.
Photos and videos:
- You are allowed to take photos and film during the event.
- We will take photos during the event, which we will make available to you shortly afterwards. If you do not want these photos to be used by Wild Swiss Adventure GmbH on the website or on social media platforms, please indicate this when you register.
Clothing:
- Please wear appropriate clothing for the conditions.
- Please do not wear snowsuits with animal motifs, as this can lead to misunderstandings with the huskies. Wild Swiss Adventure GmbH is not liable for any damages.
If we have to cancel your booked event due to weather conditions or impassable trail conditions, you have the choice:

Postponement for an alternative date that suits us both

Refund the amount already paid less a one-off processing fee of 5 % of the gross booking amount (minimum CHF 10.-) to cover our payment processing costs
The remaining amount will be transferred back net to the payment method you used. Please note that additional fees charged by your payment service provider (e.g. CC/PayPal) cannot be covered by us
