Your husky adventure
Welcome & Introduction
You will be warmly welcomed, get to know the husky team and the guides and learn all about the programme, safety and sled dog sports.
Single rides in a sports sledge
Each person travels individually as a passenger in a sports sledge over the snow-covered 2 km trail - intensively, personally and under the guidance of experienced guides.
Husky time & photos
After the rides, there is time for petting, meeting the huskies, photos and exciting insights into their pack life and origins
Outdoor raclette & finale
Now a raclette with regional cheese, fresh bread and warm drinks awaits you - cosily outside in the snow. Plus: a give-away and all photos free to download.

Husky adventure in a group - ride, raclette & unforgettable moments
The event starts at 5.30 pm, when dusk sets in and the moonlight bathes the snow-covered landscape of Zermeiggern in soft light. Experience a unique winter adventure with your group in the middle of the quiet, snow-covered forests. As passengers in a sports sledge, you will be pulled along a 2 km trail by a powerful husky team - safely guided by our experienced guides.
After the welcome, you will learn more about the tour, sled dog sport and the everyday life of our huskies. Then the individual tours start - each person experiences the ride individually in the sled, very personally and intensively.
Afterwards, there will be time to meet the huskies: stroke them, observe them, ask questions - you will get to know their history, their energy and their pack behaviour up close.
A special highlight awaits you afterwards: an outdoor raclette in the snow with regional Upper Valais cheese, freshly baked bread and hot drinks - cosy, authentic and genuine.
Hot drinks such as mulled wine, tea and biscuits will be available throughout the event. At the end, there will be a give-away for all participants - and of course lots of lovely souvenir photos, which you will receive free of charge.
Weather and trail:
- Our sled dog events take place in the beautiful subalpine area of the Upper Valais. Please note that weather conditions can vary greatly during the winter season.
- The weather can change quickly and there may be unexpected storms or an increased risk of avalanches.
- Trail conditions also play a decisive role. The prerequisites for a rideable trail are at least 10 cm of packed snow (comparable to cross-country ski trails), no major icing and no deep slushy snow.
For these reasons, we need your mobile phone number where we can reach you on the day of the event in case of last-minute changes.
Passenger journeys:
If the weather and trail conditions allow, we use a traditional wooden sledge for passenger rides, which can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults. The additional weight also plays a role.
For safety reasons, we have the following rule:
- If you are booking for 2 people: The total weight of the 2 people should not exceed 170 kg. If this is the case, please make a note of this when you book. This information is important for us, as we then have to organise individual trips with a sports sledge and plan accordingly. This will not restrict your experience in any way!
Our events usually involve between 8 and 14 Siberian huskies. These powerful huskies are led by our experienced leaders Blizzard & Sky, who are excellently trained. Nevertheless, something unexpected can always happen. For safety and health reasons, pregnant women and children under the age of 2 are therefore not allowed to take part.
General booking conditions:
- The event is booked as soon as payment has been received by Wild Swiss Adventure & Dog School GmbH.
- Up to 15 days before the event the booking can be cancelled via your profile or by e-mail, in which case 4% bank charges will be retained.
- Up to 14 days before the event the booking can be cancelled via your profile or via e-mail, 50% of the booking value will be refunded.
- Up to 7 days before the event the booking can be cancelled via your profile or by e-mail, 20% of the booking value will be refunded.
- 24 hours before the event you will receive a text message and an e-mail informing you whether the event will take place due to bad weather, high temperatures or other unforeseeable conditions.
To ensure that you can enjoy your event without worries and are covered for unforeseen events such as illness or accidents, we recommend that you take out travel insurance. It is the responsibility of the participants to take out insurance.
Photos and videos:
- You are allowed to take photos and film during the event, of course also while driving.
- We will take photos during the event, which we will make available to you shortly afterwards. If you do not want these photos to be used by Wild Swiss Adventure GmbH on the website or on social media platforms, please indicate this when you register.
Clothing:
- Please wear appropriate clothing for the conditions.
- Please do not wear snowsuits with animal motifs, as this can lead to misunderstandings with the huskies. Wild Swiss Adventure GmbH is not liable for any damages.
If we have to cancel your booked event due to weather conditions or impassable trail conditions, you have the choice:

Refund the amount already paid less a one-off processing fee of 5 % of the gross booking amount (minimum CHF 10.-) to cover our payment processing costs
The remaining amount will be transferred back net to the payment method you used. Please note that additional fees charged by your payment service provider (e.g. CC/PayPal) cannot be covered by us
